Having done the software update etc I am trying to calibrate the printer. The problem I am having is that the bed sits in the wrong position i.e in position 'D' the nozzle is directly above the plate clamp...obviously this means that i am unable to calibrate the height, 'B' puts the nozzle over the left edge of the board and 'c' only about 2/3 of the way back. Is there a way to actually set the bed so that is more central to the nozzle...also it parks at the back by the spool so will make it harder to remove the print job (if i can get the issues resolved!) Thanks in advance for any assistance Barry

i had that happen to me, all i done was shut the printer off, and pc or laptop, the restarted the laptop
first followed by the printer, with the usb plugged in before powering up, it then worked fine, dont put the usb
lead in while they are both powered up. hope this helps barry.

Getting nowhere fast! Trying to connect printer but now just an error message saying unable to connect..open printer setting? I cant even get the thing to update the confuguration file from arduino! have tried reseting laptop, uninstalling, reinstalling, defrag, power on nothing connected, power on with printer connected and not on, all connected and on!!! Keeps telling me that the comm 3 port has stopped or the usb device is not recognised!!! so far a very expensive and elaborate door stop!

In the Config tab I can go to manual config and then connect, it then changes status to idle, short pause then hangs on '4 command waiting' hangs for a while then gives the error message that it cant connect to the printer. The light on the front of the printer is green but doesnt do anything when i press it Any suggestions?

just checking, is the hood down, if not have you locked the micro switch closed on the side?

Yes. I have done both the bypass with a skewer and also in the settings. I have now taken the base off to see if there is an internal reset switch, no luck yet though
